Madison Babywearing February Meeting
Friday, February 6th
10:30am - 12pm
Join us for our meeting on February 6th at Haumea! We'll be upstairs from 10:30am-12pm. We’ll have our lending library and volunteers on hand to help fit your personal carriers or a carrier from our library. Our meetings are free and open to the public, however, if you would like lending privileges from our lending library you’ll need to set up a membership which is $40 a year. Scholarships are available.

Discover all the wonderful benefits of babywearing beyond just convenience! In Babywearing 101, we will talk about how to wear your baby safely and explore the different types of baby carriers you can choose from. Whether you are new to babywearing or want to improve your skills, you will get caring, hands-on support every step of the way. This class is led by a Certified Babywearing Consultant, so feel free to bring your questions.
This class is intended for new or expecting parents. Participants are welcome to bring their infants to class, however we do not have the set up to accommodate older siblings.

Woven Wraps 101

Learn all about the wonderful world of woven wraps! You'll leave this hands-on workshop with knowledge about sizing, different textiles, and the ability to tie at least two carries (front wrap cross carry plus a newborn friendly variation, and a hip carry). We'll also spend time discussing general babywearing safety and where to purchase a wrap.
